Crisis Intervention
This survey course explores the various types of crises and approaches to crisis intervention in professional practice. General systems theory is the basic underlying framework. Students engage in role play, simulations, and games, to develop beginning professional skills needed to work with individuals, families, groups, and communities in crisis.
