Social Work Practice Foundations I

Provides a framework for beginning direct social work practice with emphasis on values, ethics, diversity, and difference in practice. The course provides foundation knowledge of the systems perspective and planned change process. Basic practice skills are introduced with a critical examination of the structure, history, theory, and practice of social work.
