Applied Spanish: Interpretation and Community Outreach
Introductory Spanish-English interpretation skills, including sight, consecutive and simultaneous, are taught with a focus on healthcare or legal interpreting. Students prepare oral interpretation exercises that are presented and critiqued in class. This class includes a ten (10) hour service-learning requirement.
