Kent State University at Stark, often referred to as Kent State University Stark and Kent State Stark, is a public liberal arts university in Stark County, Ohio, and the largest regional campus of Kent State University. Kent State Stark promotes environmental and social responsibility and was recognized on the President's Service Learning Honor Roll for 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Ninety percent of graduates in 2008 took the "Graduation Pledge" to consider the environmental and social consequences of any job they consider.Kent State Stark is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools) and is an active member of AASCU (American Association of State Colleges and Universities) and participant in the Voluntary System of Accountability.
