Physical Anthropology and Archaeology

An introduction to physical (biological) anthropology that emphasizes the study of Homo sapiens evolution and diversity, as well as archeology which focused upon the myriad of artifacts created by this species. Languages, cultures, social organization, and human ecology are incorporated to facilitate an understanding of the people of the earth. A recognition and appreciation of the flora and fauna are basic to this course
