General Physics I

Introductory study of physics covering vectors, geometric and trigonometric applications in physics, kinematics of particles in one and two dimensions, and Newtons laws of motion, energy, momentum, kinematics and dynamics of rigid bodies, equilibrium, fluids, heat, and thermodynamics. This course satisfies the major requirements for Physics, Math and Chemistry majors. Three one-hour lectures and one three-hour lab per week
