Politics of Sex

This course will cover the intersection of sex, power and politics, how gender identities influence political behavior, the role of gender norms and stereotypes, the role women play in contemporary politics and we will consider the historical contribution of women in American political development. We will also examine government regulation of sexual behavior and the evolution of LGBTQ politics
