This examination into the book of Acts will enable students to understand the birth and growth of the church under the sovereign direction of the resurrected Christ. The emphasis is on understanding the purpose of the book, with special consideration given to the literary structure of the book, problem passages, church growth, and personal application. This course can be credited as a New Testament Bible elective.
