Special Needs Children and Family Ministry

This course focuses on families with special needs children who are atypical in learning, sensory, social and physical development with the goal of understanding and learning appropriate teaching and helping skills for the benefit of these children and their families. With a strong theological and biblical approach so as to create an effective ministry mindset, a variety of topics as Autism, ADHD, genetic disorders and physical disabilities as well as identifyingunique family needs will be considered. Course fee required.Open to juniors and seniors only.Course offered every spring semester.
