Modern Religious Movements

This advanced study gives an overview of the major sects (both pseudo-Christian and non-Christian) and how to understand and effectively witness to those affected by spiritual and psychological attachment to these alternative religious systems. The course focuses on doctrines, unique language, departure from orthodox interpretations of Scripture, psychological structures, and the social organization of the adherents.
