Ministry Internship

The ministry internship provides a one- or two-semester experience in a Christian organization that requires skills directly related to the student’s academic preparation. Students will be given an opportunity to confirm the call to their chosen ministry path. Students will serve under the supervision of faculty within the division of their major. Internships usually are scheduled for the student’s senior year. However, in some cases, internships may take place over the summer (normally between the student’s junior and senior years). In these instances, PCM fulfillment may be required during the senior academic year. All internships require the advanced approval of the student’s faculty advisor as well as Field Education/Practical Christian Ministries. Prerequisite: Student must be classified as a junior or senior. Program heads may establish other prerequisites or enrollment limitations
