Teaching Language Arts in Middle Grades

Admission to TEP is required. Role of language arts in the middle grades curriculum. Diagnosis of children's communication skills, needs and subsequent teaching techniques are central to the course. Areas of emphasis include language development, listening and thinking skills, speaking, written expression, spelling and handwriting. Completion of the required field experience is an integral part of this course
