Advanced CAD of Mechanisms

Mathematical and graphic solutions of problems involving the principles of machine elements. Special emphasis on study and stress analysis, failure prevention from static and variable loading, design of mechanical elements, linkages, velocities and acceleration of points with link mechanisms; layout methods for designing cams, belts, pulleys, gears and gear trains. The course will offer a practical approach to the subject of machine design through a wide range of real-world applications and examples. Case studies, discussions and projects are integrated in a a cohesive approach to solving advanced machine design and mechanism problems in line with contemporary technological advances
