Picture Archiving and Communication Systems
Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) are now part of the fundamental technological infrastructure supporting radiology practice in the digital age. This course is an introduction to concepts of PACS, networking fundamentals, DICOM, image acquisition and the equipment used. Legal issues and formal PACS policies will also be discussed
