MATH 620
Mathematical Modeling for Teachers
This course is designed for the mathematics teacher. The purpose is to deepen students' knowledge of functions as applied to the high school curriculum. The focus is on mathematical modeling of functional relationships. The relationships will be investigated using symbolic, verbal, tabular and graphical representations. Topics include linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, polynomial and rational functions in both recursive and explicit forms
