This course explains patterns of individual thoughts, behaviors, and their relationship to mid-and micro-level social structures. Topics include the institution's role in the social self, personality formation/change, aggression, and conformity. The influence of small group processes on individual behavior and identity formation also is discussed. Equates with GST 354
