ART 3100

POSTER DESIGN ART AS ACTIVISM

A graphic design class that explore the art form of the poster as a means of response and calls to action in the realm of social, ethical, or societal concerns. Students will address relationships between type, image, and message. Projects will be supported with lectures and class discussion, as well as presentations of significant historical social and political design in poster form.
