A Mount Education: Cultivating Academic Success

Designed to support students who are placed on Academic Warning after their first semester of college. The course blends traditional in-class instruction, small-group mentorship, and campus engagement in order to cultivate students' ability to self-assess, to professionally self-advocate and utilize available resources, and to grow their academic and organizational skills. Ultimately, this course prepares first-year students to thrive as both apprentice scholars and engaged citizens at Mount Saint Mary College.
