CSC 2550

INTRODUCTION TO PROGRAMMING

Introduces the student to the fundamental concepts of computer programming, including the kinds of programming languages, the concepts of structured programming and object oriented programming, procedures and functions. Compilers, Interpreters and Assemblers, algorithms, and statement types. A simple programming language or pseudo-language will be used, but an in-depth knowledge of how to write a computer program is not the goal of this course. Cross Listed Courses - CIT 2550
