METHODS OF TEACHING- CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Students will learn to distinguish among and apply a variety of teaching approaches, such as discovery learning, direct instruction and inquiry based learning. They will learn to: individualize procedures to accommodate the needs of students including those with disabilities; and regularly infuse use of technology to engage students in active learning. Field work is required.
