CURRICULUM & ASSESSMENT FOR AT RISK STUDENTS

Candidates will explore specific strategies that address the needs of at-risk students in target schools. Second-year TOC candidates will meet in a seminar format with more advanced TOC candidates for discussion of their experiences in fieldwork and internships. Students will examine relevant texts and web-based resources for teaching marginalized student populations. Reflections of observational fieldwork related to at-risk students are required.
