APPLIED RESEARCH IN TEACHING PUPILS WITH DISABILITIES

This course is focused on curriculum development, instructional planning, and multiple research-validated instructional strategies for teaching pupils with the full range of abilities. Students are required to evaluate a student in an academic area, then design and implement instruction that conforms to the principles of learning that are critical to the academic achievement of children and youth with disabilities. Teaching with technology and the use of assistive technology will be included. Field work is required.
