THEORIES, RESEARCH AND APPLICATION OF ADOLESCENT DEVELOPMENT

This course exams the nature of adolescent development. The biological, cognitive, cultural, and economic contexts within which pupils grow to maturity are considered in the light of research findings . Creating a safe and nurturing atmosphere in schools in the face of such challenges as substance abuse, teen pregnancy, unbridled entertainment and other distractions will be addressed.
