READING IMPROVEMENT THROUGH WRITING

This course involves an intensive study of the relationship between reading and writing that includes an examination of recent theories and research on the effects of reading and writing as instructional practice, reference to ways in which technology aids in the instruction of reading and writing and their application to curricular goals of the literacy program. Ways of organizing and enhancing literacy instruction for special needs students and English language learners will be addressed. Fieldwork is required.
