EXS 4300

BIOMECHANICS

This course introduces the student to the quantitative and qualitative techniques used to analyze both static and dynamic human movement. Concepts introduced include work, energy, power, kinematics, torque, joint angle and strain. Sport and dance will be the primary model movement, yet worksite movement dynamics (ergonomics) may also be introduced.
