BOB DYLAN: 1963-1974

This course will examine the music, poetry and political impact of Dylan’s work on America and the world spanning the civil rights movement up to the mid-seventies. To that end students will research and write about Dylan’s contribution as an artist, songwriter and celebrity as well as gaining a better understanding of the history of the civil and political struggles that reached their pinnacle during the tumultuous decade of the sixties and beyond.
