SEMINAR IN HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT

The seminar in health care management is designed as a capstone experience to assist the student in reflecting upon, summarizing and applying specific management tools the student is reflecting upon, summarizing and applying specific management tools learned in prior classes to health care managerial situations. The course will broaded the student's understanding of the health care manager's role, including the use of diagnostic and analytic techniques. Students will examine their understanding of health care management in various settings. In addition, the role of leaders, managers and organizational members will be discussed.
