EUROPE 19TH CENTURY

An analysis of European history in the 195h century. Topics which will be studied include: the defeat of Napolean, the restoration of monarchy, the revolutions of the mid-nineteenth century, the emergence of republican government in Britain and France, the unification of Italy and Germany, imperialism, and the causes of the First World War.
