CULTURAL DIVERSITY IN HEALTHCARE

This course will focus on the reduction of health care inequalities and the promotion of cultural diversity in the health sector. Students will learn how cultural diversities have historically impacted the patient experience in the United States, how to facilitiate the provision of care to patients with diverse values, behaviors, and languages, and how to mediate between culturally diverse populations.
