HSR 4855

HUMAN SERVICE INTERNSHIP

The purpose of this course is to provide an opportunity for the application of theory to practice in a human service setting. Students will complete 225 hours of work in such placements as community service organizations, group homes, recreating agencies, substance abuse programs. Students will be under direct supervision of qualified persons in the sponsoring agency and of the college faculty. Grading will be Pass/Fail.
