HEALTH ASSESSMENT

This course focuses on the collection and organization of information relevant to a person's health status. Emphasis is on developing skills for taking a nursing history , for conducting a psychosocial assessment and a physical assessment on a well individual, and for reporting results of the assessment in an organized manner. Fundamentals of obtaining a medication history and medication calculation and administration are incorporated.
