NUR 3001

NURSING RESEARCH FOR EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE

This course will explore the impact of evidenced-based research in the provision of high quality, safe, cost effective care. The focus will be on the steps of the research process, critical appraisal of studies, and the translation of research evidence into practice as the foundation of nursing care. Ethical implications will also be explored. Student will have the opportunity to select an area of research interest that facilitates the development of their evidenced-based practice.
