NUR 3011

NORMAL AND THERAPEUTIC NUTRITION

This course will review the study of nutritive value of foods and the nutritional requirements of various age groups. The impact of nutritional therapy in selected major health problems will be explored. Emphasis will be on analysis of contemporary nutritional concerns as they relate to health promotion, health maintenance, and disease management. Cultural aspects of diet and nutrition will be considered.
