Evaluation of Learning

The focus of this course is on assessment, measurement, testing, and evaluation in nursing education. Emphasis is on learning principles, measurement instruments, construction, test interpretation, and assessment of psychomotor and cognitive skills in academic and health education settings. Differences between various assessment methods and an exploration of societal, ethical, and legal issues involving testing are integral components of this course.
