PSY 2400

SOCIAL INTERACTION/MC CHLD & YOUTH

Students will analyze factors which affect the development of positive social relationships among children and youth. Emphasis will be placed on ways members of schools and other communities can communicate effectively with individuals from a variety of cultures. Also included will be research on analysis of strategies to foster positive social development, including cooperative learning, peer collaboration, and conflict resolution. Field work is required.
