PSY 3100

PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENT OF SPECIAL EDUCATION

This course will focus on the development of skills in formal and informal assessment, task analysis and the interpretation of psycho-educational data for pupils identified as or suspected of having disabilities. Students will learn to synthesize psychological and educational data into an effective individualized educational plan (IEP) for children with special needs. Field work is required.
