BOOK OF APOCALYPSE

After discussing the background, genre, and literary characteristics of the Apocalypse, this course will focus on a detailed study of the text of the Apocalypse, its theology, and interpretive problems. This study will be concerned with what the text meant in its historical setting. The book's primary message of hope intended for the early church applies to our own time.
