INTRODUCTION TO SOCIOLOGY

This course introduces students to the theoretical foundations of sociological thinking. Students will understand the major social theories, the relationships between culture and human behavior, and the process of socializations. Students will apply theories to the analysis of important social structures such as social stratification. Students will be able to use computer applications and the Internet as tools for sociological analysis.
