SOC 1020

SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS

This course continues the introduction to sociology with an emphasis on social institutions and social change. Students will apply sociological theories to such major institutions as family, economy, education, religion and politics. Students will use data bases and software applications for describing and analyzing these phenomena.
