SOC 2600

URBAN SOCIOLOGY

Study of the city on both the theoretical and practical levels. The student will learn to view the city as a social system and to apply sociological concepts to the study and amelioration of urban problems. How communities function, why they function as they do and how they might best function are topics covered in this course.
