METHODS OF SOCIAL RESEARCH

This course introduces students to research methods commonly used in investigating social issues. Students will understand the logic of social research, its design and analysis. Students will apply a variety of data collection methods, and analyze their appropriateness under different research conditions. Students will select a research topic dealing with a current social issue and generate an appropriate research design.
