SOC 4070

SOCIAL THEORY

This is an advanced course in social theory. Students will identify major classical and modern theorists, associate them with the major theoretical paradigms in sociology, and describe, analyze and critique their theories. In addition, students will apply these theories to the analysis of concrete social phenomena.
