Methods of Instruction in the Mathematics Curriculum for the Middle School II

Objectives, problems, strategies, and trends in teaching middle school mathematics. Applications of learning theory and research focusing on remediation, presentation of new concepts, and the use of manipulatives. Accepted for credit as a middle school mathematics methods course, but not as an upper-division mathematical content course. Accepted as mathematical sciences credit only for those preparing to teach middle grades. Not used in major or minor GPA calculations for mathematical sciences majors or minors.
