Adult Health Nursing I Clinical

Application of the theoretical basis for safe, evidence-based, quality, holistic, patient-centered nursing care for patients with various medical/surgical conditions. Focus on care that is developmentally and culturally appropriate. Emphasis on the nurses skill as caregiver, communicator, and critical thinker in a structured clinical setting. Integration of legal and ethical responsibilities of the nurse as provider of care, designer/manager/coordinator of care, and member of a profession. Introduction to information management principles, techniques, and systems when providing collaborative nursing care. S/U grading
