Role of theatre as a fine art vehicle of meanings, and cultural values. Contributions of playwright, actor, director, designer, technician, and audience to the theatrical event. Practical exercises in theatrical production, especially as contrasted with mediated drama. Attendance at NIU School of Theatre and Dance productions is required. Not open to School of Theatre and Dance majors or minors
