Advanced Health Assessment

This course is designed to develop and enhance advanced health assessment skills of the practitioner for family/individual across lifespan. Integration and application of appropriate diagnostic data and monitoring as well as psychosocial, pathophysiologic changes and cultural differences will be utilized in the development of a comprehensive history and physical assessment. A systems based approach will be utilized with selection of specific monitoring, ongoing patient assessment, and intervention during the perioperative period will be discussed
