This course will study the role of nutrition through each life stage; pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, adolescence, and older adulthood from physiological, social, and behavioral perspectives, focusing on the special nutritional needs of each life stage for optimal growth and development, maturation, aging, and overall health and wellbeing.
