Conceptual physics for nonscience majors. Using guided inquiry activities to teach basic principles and their applications. Topics chosen from among: nature of physics as a science, mechanics, wave motion, light, heat, electricity, and the atom. Assumes knowledge of elementary algebra. General Education Credit: Natural Science
