Just started going to Ohlone and its nice because students go there to complete their classes and then be out. I spent a lot of time in the library on the Fremont campus. Once you're actually in the library, the wifi is very stable and it's usually pretty quiet upstairs. On the Newark campus I either hang out in the second story quad area and do homework. Most of the time there isn't anything exciting going on at either campus, but every now and then ASOC will put together a make-your-own-craft or free food event.

My experience at Ohlone College was quiet interesting. It is a very diverse college. The professors are very helpful and the campus provides many resources to any student needs. There are 2 campuses, both being very clean with plenty of parking.

I liked the environment and most of my professors however it seemed like they were willing to hire anyone. Many of the professors had thick accents, making it hard to understand them at times. Others just weren't very good teachers. There are some, however, that were amazing at their jobs. I had professors who got you really invested and eager to learn about the topic. You could tell they were enthusiastic about the topic which was contagious. There were also good places to do homework/study and (for the most part) good resources if you needed extra help.Overall Ohlone is a hit or miss when it comes to teachers.

I went to Ohlone College for two years. Ohlone College, is like any other community college where you go to school and just go home. The difference between ohlone college to any other college would be how diversity everyone is there willingly to help each other to strive your goals together.

Ohlone College is a great community college in the Bay Area. This college defiantly has room for improvement. However, all the experiences I’ve had are absolutely wonderful. The counselors are great, the campus is large, the construction is annoying, and not all the teachers are great. But all the meanwhile, I’ve made lasting friendships and know where I want to go now. I love this college.

I have not gone to Ohlone yet, but I have to say the campus is clean, and for the most part, the faculty is helpful. The campus will be very nice after it finishes its renovations. Ohlone doesn't have the best student life, but offers a great amount of cost effective classes that can help students who are looking to transfer or get general education classes done, during breaks for four year students.

Overall I enjoyed my experience at Ohlone, however the academic advisors were not very helpful. I think the education is good, but it really depends on your professor. I ended up taking more classes than I needed, and a few that were not even relevant to my degree. I have heard the same comments from students attending so I wasn't the only one. My advice would be to grab the handbook and figure out what courses you need to take on your own.

A great college with excellent professors who care about your learning experience. Ohlone College is a very small community college. Because it's small, it makes more leadership opportunities available. While at universities participating in clubs may require former experiences, it is not required at Ohlone. Many even provide training. Even though it's small, it has a lot of extracurricular activities on campus. It has a variety of clubs. The student body is also remarkably diverse. The student service is comprehensive and highly available. It's really nice studying at Ohlone College in general.
