Regis College is a private Roman Catholic university located on a 132 acres (0.53 km2) former estate in the suburb of Weston, Massachusetts. The college is approximately 12 miles (19 km) from downtown Boston. Regis was founded as a women’s college in 1927. In 2007, Regis became co-educational. It was the last Catholic women's college in the Boston area to start admitting men.
